Quite a few people entered the Valentine Drawing for the $100 mall gift card. The actual drawing was done by Jon Nickel, over wine and appetizers at Winston’s. He joked, “What if I draw my own name?” but he didn’t. He drew Wayne and Leslie McPeters, long-time clients who live in Wake Forest. Wayne and Leslie are threefers — they’ve done three transactions with me total. The Garden has quite a few threefers; I think two couples are fivefers and one family has done a grand total of seven transactions with me. That includes parents, children, and a cousin!
The next day, Friday the 12th, I went to Triangle Town Center to purchase the gift card and then delivered it to Leslie at work. She was so excited!
This is only the second drawing I’ve done for the Garden, and I’m definitely going to do it again. Maybe I’ll move the wine and appetizers a little later. 5:00-6:00 turned out to be too early for most working folks.
