It’s All About Color

When I take my stager into a new listing, almost always she says, “We have to add color.”

The American color palatte is conservative and, frankly, boring. Carpet and walls are beige, furniture is brown.

You can add color without spending a lot of money. What about bright pillows and a throw on the couch and/or upholstered chairs? What about window treatments? Artwork makes a huge difference to a room! Go wild with artwork!

If you’re hesitatant, start with the artwork. Choose a colorful painting and then tie your accent colors into the ones in the painting.

Go ahead, throw some color around your house! Isn’t that better than boring?
