Best Tasting Water in NC!

When you think of expert tasters sipping and swishing, you’re probably   thinking wine, not water.  But just so you know, Raleigh has bragging rights for “Best Tasting Water” in the state of North Carolina.

Well, technically Raleigh tied with Kinston for First Place in the Best Tasting Water Contest held at the 95th North Carolina American Water Works Association and Water Environment Association (NC.AWWA-WEA) Annual Conference on November 17th, in Raleigh.

Water samples were submitted from dozens of participating water systems from across the state. Individual conference judges ranked the samples and results were combined to arrive at the overall winners.

Second place went to the Town of Cary and third place to the City of High Point.
